Meet Chandler. Chandler is one of four Dark Brahmas we started raising in April. The others, Joey, Ross and Gunther (yes, we realize they're not perfect hen names and we may have cursed ourselves) have more of the typical Dark Brahma look. Chandler is the largest of the four, and has some blueish green feathers.
He/she still seems to have quite a few more hen qualities than rooster qualities, but we're getting ourselves ready to be disappointed. Chandler is by far the most outgoing and friendly of the flock, loves to come right up and ask to be petted. Even back in the brooder, it was always Chan that would flap up as soon as the lid was open to try to perch up on an arm then try to sneakily work up to onto a shoulder.
