change in egg color?

We have a Americana that has been lating green eggs for about 4 months since she started laying. We got a light blue egg from her last night, does this happen, is it normal?

The green is from a brown coating over a blue shell so yes, it can happen if the "sprayer" is on the fritz. I've also noticed that the green eggs tend to be more blue in appearance when warm and then look more green once they've cooled. I don't know why that is, just something I've noticed.
