Change up feed for winter?

Do you guys feed a different feed for winter? Since it's gonna be cold, they're gonna eat more. Do you throw a little bit lower protein food at your birds to compensate for the increase in appetite?

On the cold days mine will eat more grain than mash. I don't change their feeds as it's the same that I give them year round, but the ratio will change somewhat.
