Changing roosters.

If my hens have been with one rooster but arent laying and I put them in with a different rooster, do I still have to wait three weeks after laying for the eggs to be fertilized by new rooster?

They can store semen for three weeks so id say yes so if say one started laying two weeks after being with new rooster it still could be the other roosters

You’d have to wait three weeks after putting them in with the new rooster, whether or not they were laying during that time.

You don’t have to wait for them to lay then wait three weeks.

If they are not laying they may or may not be mating (depending on how close they are to laying).

3 weeks may or may not be long enough to wait.
