I am trying to change the food from the powder (mash) food to Granules
for my pheasant and quails and chickens but they dont seem to eat the granules.
If i mix but together they just empty the feeders every day.
With just the granules they dont rake it all out
I am worried they are not eating
what do you think
is there a gradual transition when changing food.
any help or advice

I am changing as floors in the aviaries are covered with food they just rake out of the feeder ,which are supposed to be anti rake type
more small hole so they cant tip the food out

Hard Boiled Eggs (diced) and seed are the way to go, some nice fish oil every once in a while. If they don't eat they must not be hungry. eliminate mashes and crumbles as soon as humanly possible. They are disease vectors.

Just stick to your plan, mixing them, gradually changing over to the new feed. They will eat when they get hungry enough.
