⠀ changing to pellets rather than crumbles. Layena

I am trying to get my hens to eat layena pellets after a several years of layena crumbles. I feel they are wasted. I have gradually fed them a mixture and for 3 days now only the pellets. No luck. They are vicious to each other getting something. What should I do. Go back on crumbles?
I have cut out any other source of food hoping they would go to the pellets.

Is there a reason why you are switching their food? Personally I think that crumbles are best because it engages them more while they eat and there is variety. It also takes them longer to get everything they need so they can't just stuff their faces. I would switch them back to crumbles.

I have switched them back to crumbles already and they are eating it.
Everyone says the pellets are less waste so thought I'd try it.
