Chased that mangy old cat away from the coop tonight

That old rough looking cat that lives around here came up to the living room windows and scared my cats and then ran off and hid beside the coop. We went outside to chase it off and we were almost right on it before it ran off. I don't know if this is what's getting my chickens? It attacked one of my cats over the summer and tore her up pretty good! I need a shotgun. Hope my chicken girls are safe tonight.

Its just hungry... if you were starving, you go after your chickens too.
It might be better off killed humanely than starving and fighting of its life outside...

Rarely will they attack chickens,but they might aggitate your cats enough that they start spraying the house up to mark their territory. A live trap from home depot is useful. Call AC to get it.

I have trapped and cared for many strays over the years. You can only take in so many.
