Has anyone noticed that since chat was gone less people have been posting?

No, seems to be the same amount of traffic. I think some people post less because they are tired of people being confrontational

Traffic seems to be the same... if not more actually. Think our most members online was after chat was removed. One thing is for sure, a whole less reports on chat based problems!

I guess. I miss it. i post tons on the forums.. but ppl dont really answer. me. Like now! im SOOO bored.

I do think people don't post many replies but do post threads and those threads go unresponded too. Kinda new here but I have noticed a lack of responses unless it confrontational. Please don't flog me!

See, there's the problem, for me at least. When someone posts and it's obvious that they just SOOO bored, I move on. If there is a true, legitimate issue or post about chickens I am far more likely to respond. I do play and socialize a bit, but I really tend to ignore posts that are easily answered by a search and the OP is just looking for entertainment.
And when there is a forum as large as this one there is going to contain some confrontation and contention. Keep it polite and there won't be a problem. If someone is impolite, report it.
Edited to add: If you start a thread with a legitimate chicken or duck issue and it gets no response? PM me, I'll try to help.
