I would like to get another chicken coop, but the only problem is I would have to build it,
so does anyone have plans for a cheap chicken coop that's at least 10 by 8

Nothing 8x10 is going to be cheap...unless you can get 90% of the materials for free, and have copious building skills.

Also, 8x8 will be a lot cheaper considering material in 8 foot lengths is cheaper than 10 foot lengths, but if that's what you need, that's what you need.

We just finished building a house so we have lots if leftover materials
What do you believe is cheap?

Less than $400, after 4H I should have at least $300 extra for chicken money

.....I would think plans would just emerge, get out your paper and pencil and draw up a very small house-changing doors, windows and ventilation to suit chickens instead of people.

How about a Hoop Coop? Panels are 50" x16ft at TSC for about $20 each, mesh would run about $60 from Home Depot and you would need some 2x4's to frame a door and put around the bottom.

My 8'x8' aviary cost us $350 to build and a 8'x12' was about $500. I think a hoop coop would run much less and take less time and skill to build.

Ok technically hoop coops are runs, but you get the idea :)

That sounds good and I looked up some pics, I would have to do a bit of remodeling for the sleeping area due to the raccoons, and skunks

I downloaded a plan from Fresh Eggs Daily

It houses 7 birds and cost me (roughly) $300. I did all the work myself and was able to snag a few pieces of scrap wood and metal screening for free which I used in the construction. It took me a weekend to build and another weekend to prime and paint.
