hi I got turkey poults and I have a flock of chickens but I know that chickens and turkeys can't mix because of black head even though my friends and people I know have them all around here but I want them to be really safe does anyone have any good ideas for cheap turkey coops? I'd so thanks so much would love to hear some advice

You can always build a 3 sided shed, maybe out of pallets. Turkeys will often choose to sleep outside if the weather isn't bad. Since you are in North Carolina a 3 sided shed should be enough. Put a roost or two in it.

We used welded wire. I think it is 4x2. We had an already existing calf barn for them to hole up in though.
