Check out this egg

This morning I was gathering eggs.......I got seven eggs today.....a record for me now,
But check out this egg......My EE, Bertha, and first to lay an egg for me, layed this monster egg.

It is pictured beside her "usual" sized egg. It looks like two eggs fused together.
Poor Bertha.........

OMG......That is crazy big. Maybe a triple!!!!

That's gotta be at least a double yolker, you will let us know right? I had about 19 double yolkers from just 2 chickens, since May but that has slowed down now to just normal eggs.

I have had one double yoker....but this one is even larger.
I think I'll take another picture with me holding it.....SOOOO Cool.
I never thought keeping chickens would be so much FUN!

Let us know,,,,I had a HUGE egg one time that I thought for sure would possibly have 3 yolks and it had one! I really do not know how she passed it. I love those big eggs.

Well, my huge egg was a double yoker........It was tasty!

I only got one egg today. The 2 RIR have just started laying. I am waiting for the other 30 something to start. The waiting is crazy!

I am now getting up to 8 eggs a day from my 11 pullets...I am thrilled.
I have added 4 turken pullets, but they are only 6 weeks old....they are so cute!
I want to hatch some SLW in the spring......I love my chickens!!
