Check out this HUGE Egg my Ameraucana layed!!

I could not believe it when I checked the egg boxes yesterday. My Ameraucana produced an egg of gigantic proportions! I put the egg with eggs from my RIR's for comparison. I can not even close the top of the egg carton all the way. That had to be painful for my poor girl. Sorry for poor quality. I took pics with my cell phone.

I have not cracked it open yet, because I keep taking it out of the refrigerator to stare at it

I believe you are right though. It is very heavy, so I would bet it probably does have 2 yolks.

YEA!! Thats exciting! I love it when I get double yolkers! LOL I have to save them for a few days so I can look at it and study it before Dad is allowed to eat it! LOL...
