I am looking for a good breeder for the following in Middle Tennessee:

Rhode Island Reds
Buff Op
White Leghorns
Barred Rock

Black Stars

I appreciate any suggestions for the following breeds.

I don't know that one breeder would be raising all the ones you listed. Some hatcheries might - you could check out the BYC sponsors. If you post on your state thread, you may find chicken folks near you with some of the breeds. Good luck in your search.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have some great layers. Black Sex Links (Black Stars) are my favorites as they are friendly and hardy, egg laying machines. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. Since Black Stars (Black Sex Links) are hybrids produced by crossing red gene roosters with barred hens and don't conform to any SOP breeding standards, you can get them from any number of hatcheries that breed them. I've personally ordered them from Dunlap Hatchery, Murray McMurray Hatchery, and Ideal Poultry on a number of occasions and have been very happy with their Black Sex Links (Black Stars). Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your birds.
