Checking my sex-link understanding

I'm considering getting a black copper marans and I am trying to figure out how his genetics would play with two other breeds I'm looking at for hens to go with him.
Q1: If I understand correctly, if I get barred rock hens I'll have sex-linked chicks- white spot and then barring for cockerels and solid black for pullets- and if I get silver laced Wyandotte hens I'll have silver cockerels and gold pullets. Is that correct? Q2: Will a BCM x SLW have too much black to see the gold/silver?
Q3: Is lacing sex-linked, too, or just barring?
I thought I also saw something about using blue for either auto-sexing or sex-linking, but I can't find it now and am wondering if I might be misremembering...

Lacing I don't believe is sexlinked.

Most silver chicks will look too similar to gold chicks without lots of practice.

Yes, the barred females would make black daughters and head spotted males

Is that true once they start getting feathers, too, or just on the down?

Once you can see gold or silver, it will be more obvious. Females should be good and males silver but may have gold or yellow staining for some feathers

I have used a splash roo over barred birds to create blue sex links. The females are a nice slate blue and the males are blue barred. I personally didn't care for the messy look of the blue barred boys but when you're going to eat them... it doesn't really matter does it

What do the offspring grow up to look like? Will they have any of mom's barring?
