Checklist for raising chicks?

A suitable brooder (big and safe),
Supplemental heat (heat lamp, Mama Heating Pad, heat plate),
Bedding,
Feeder,
Feed,
Waterer,
A bank loan,
A coop and run ready for them to go into (or you might be brooding them in it...),
Plans for cockerels you can’t keep,
A poultry vets contact details...

I think more can be added on but I’m a bit stumped at the moment...

But most importantly, plenty of research.

Welcome to BYC :)
