Just wondering if anyone knows specifically if Carolina Cherry Laurels are poisonous to chickens...I've heard that birds eat their seeds and berries but that sounds strange since they contain hydrocyanic acid. If birds can eat them without a problem, can free-ranging chickens? And if chickens can eat their seeds, are their eggs then toxic to humans? Any enlightenment would be very appreciated.
