I read alot of posts on here about adoption but have a slight twist. I have a hen that hatched 3 chicks about 2 weeks ago. As soon as they hatched another hen i guess decided to help raise them. Then something got 2 of them. So they both still raise the one thats left. Well 3 days ago i had 4 hatch in the incubator. Tonight i split up the tl2 hens because they sleep together, and gave the 4 to the adopting hen. Has anyone done this with hens that have chicks that old.
