Chick and Hen food

How do you keep your chicks from eating the older hens food once they have been introduced and housed together? I am betting my older girls are going to dive into the chick food and vice versa! Any advice would be appreciated.

Feed everyone chick feed.
It's good for everyone. Just provide oyster shells for your laying girls.

I feed all-flock. It’s good for all ages. Just have oyster shell on the side for the big girls because the all-flock has more protein and less calcium than layer feed. The hens will take what they need of the oyster shell

I am assuming by “chicks” you mean feathered out pullets
