Hey everyone! Last night I heard a commotion and one of the little chicks I had been feeding and somewhat looking after was grabbed by a cat, I chased it for about a block or two before it finally gave up and I took her back home. This morning she seemed to still be in shock, I put her outside in a little cage and watched her for a little and she stayed completely still, occasionally taking one step and then just laying down, she wouldn't chirp or making any movements when my other girlie would come near her (They used to follow each other around a lot and got on quite well). She drank some water but will not eat. I was able to find her wound and I made sure I flushed it with peroxide but it seems to okay? Lately shes been doing this with her beak (See video) and sneezing, I recently had a newborn chick die (different reasons) and it was doing the same thing so I'm worrying a little.
My family suggested it might be stress that's causing it so for now I've set her in her own little area with food and water, but it'd like to get opinions if possible or any suggestions as to what I might be able to do in order to help her.
If photos of her puncture wound are needed I'll upload one when asked.
Thank you!
