Chick born with no Eye

So I have hatched out a batch of chicks this week and one was born with only one eye. There isn't a gapping hole but it is sunk in a bit. Thankfully the area also has some feathers so it's not too bad. The other eye bulges and was open at hatch. Then after a few hours she shut it. Now it has been 2 1/2 days and she is starting to open the other eye a bit.
I have showed her food but like a horse to water, you can lead it but not force it to eat. Fortunately I have been able to take her to water and she will drink.

Very bizarre. Not sure if I am showing the poor thing any mercy by letting it live. I guess the next day or so will determine my course of action.

Nothing wrong with giving her a chance at life and leaving it to her and mother nature. I know I'd rather have a chance then not.
