Hello all,
I ordered a mix batch from a hatchery this time around. I was disapointed to find that they do not let you know what is in your order.
Most of them look like what we've had before, however we have three that are back with white inside their wing feathers. They have feathers on their legs, but the strange part is they all have the same skin bare areas on their backs just before the tail feathers. This is not a disease or attack, they have been this way since day one. I thought it was a baby thing and their adult feathers would eventually grown in, but it's been three months and except for feathers they look just the same as they did when a day old with perfect bald spots.
My camera is broken so I can't offer a picture. When I google this all I find is listings on birds being pecked and not special breeds with strange feather combinations.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
