Hi All, my Silkie chick is 9 days old, when born had spraddle leg, so I wrapped the legs with vet wrap and it seemed to do the trick, chick was walking round and eating/drinking fine. I cut the vet wrap to separate it’s legs a few days ago, but the chick was pecking at the remaining vet wrap on its legs, so we cut it off today, but ever since it has been cut off, the chick hasn’t been able to stand up and has just been laying under the heat plate. I have put food next to it & started giving it nutri-drops & water in a syringe.
Do you have any advice for anything else I can do please?
