Chick Dander

Just curious if its normal to have dander? This morning she was sitting by me for a few minutes and I look and its all around her! I noticed it before but it was a lot today

I assume its normal and maybe has to do with her feathers growing in but figured I should be safe rather than sorry.

Dust and feathers flying everywhere! That's chicks and chickens!!

I only brood chicks in the house for around 3 days unless it is 10 degrees outside, lol! They go out to the garage in a brooder after that.

Especially at around 3 weeks they look like they have dandruff.

Ha, thanks, I always thought it was normal chicken stuff but then I thought .... what if shes allergic to something and Im not doing something to help the bugger. Never noticed it on other one. I think this one always just makes me nervous because she is sooo mellow and always laying around/cuddeling and has not grown much. She still only has feathers on most of her wings but the other one is getting them so fast! It looks like she has dreads from them popping out

And they were 3 weeks yesterday! Sounds about right.
