Chick down questions

I have 2 questions.
1) what colors do you see here? Parents are a male with bronze leakage (I can post his picture of it helps) and a splash mother

2) can silkied feathering pop up seemingly random? I have a chick with NO silkied feathering in its lineage but it looks and feels silky, where it's siblings look and feel normal

1) those chicks will be a mix of splash and blue, maybe blue mottled (but unlikely)
2) you'd know if that one was a Silkie by how it's wing feathers looked. They almost have a ragged appearance at first.

Huh. Guess I'll just wait and see for the odd feathered one. It doesn't show up on camera very well compared to its sibli gs. It's just too different to be the same as everyone else.

I'm mostly puzzled by the silvery color for the mixed chick. I've had blues, splashes and blacks and never had something this silvery. And the darker one grind it had has like a yellow dot on its neck. Never had that before either
