My newborn chick was alive and well for about two days. One day the temperature dropped and it was rainy. The little chick kept on crouching to the ground and it peeped less than usual, it also kept closing its eyes. I went out to check on the chickens in a downpour and I found it underneath its mama. The chick was stiff and dead.
I don't know if it got chilled or not. Does anyone know what happened?
