Chick(en) breed confusion

I think you can also eliminate
Plymouth Rock
Sussex
Americana (America’s)
Leghorn
Polish
Australorp
Wyandotte
Marans

My first initial thought was Sussex for the checkered wing birds, but the leg coloring is incorrect. The face marking looks like baby Welsummers as well but I feel like the grow out coloring would be a bit lighter. Your feather feet remind me of an olive egger we had once…do you know where the hatchery sourced them from? I thought Whiting’s were only carried by McMurray.
I got a barnyard mix of 12 eggs from a seller on Amazon with good reviews. Most of the eggs were fertile and progressing until day 8/9 when the incubators cord came unplugged. According to their store page they're located in Alabama, which is the main reason I choose them since they were the closest to me.

Are they barnyard mix? Or separated and pure breed chicks? If all the chickens/roosters were mixed together, most will likely be crosses.

Ok so there’s no real way to tell for sure what you have then! They are gorgeous nonetheless!
I'm in love w the two brown ones (don't tell my dog) and I was hoping to get a few more of that breed since they're the calmest and easiest to handle. Guess I'll just have to wait and get pullets later :(

Update: I forgot all about this thread . . . I got more fuzzy butts . . . I mean chicks

17 RIR (2 weeks today) and 2 more BYM (3 weeks today)

No, I have no idea what I was thinking, lol.

I do tend to jump into things head first . . I do not recommend it, lots of migraines, lol.
