anyone? tips to tell Barred Rocks and Cuckoo Marans apart?

Barred Rocks have yellow legs, Cuckoo Marans have pinky-white legs. The patterns on Cuckoo Marans are supposed to be more cuckoo/chevron-like, but with the quality of hatchery BRs these days, its hard to tell them apart that way.
