Chick/en vitamins.

Hello everybody.

I am totally new to raising chickens, but hopefully soon will be hatching some in my incubator. Getting everything totally ready first, and wondered do they need vitamins? from what age? And what are they for?

It seems here in the UK chicken keeping is rare and I cant find anywhere to buy anything chicken related!!

I never gave my chicks anything but fresh clean water and a good quality chick starter. It has everything they need in it for proper growth.
It doesn't hurt to have some baby (human) vitamins on hand in case of a weak chick. In the states, that would be brand name Poly-vi-sol WITHOUT IRON. Perhaps y'all have something similiar across the pond?
