Chick enjoying the moon?

I just went out to lock the babies (8 weeks old in a couple days) up for the night, and found one of my EE chicks roosting in the doorway looking out into the chicken yard. She was ready to spend the night watching the world go by under the bright moonlight.

Ohhhhh..............that just gave me the most beautiful imagery. Actually got me all misty (yeah, so it IS that time of the month). Don't they make you just love them so much.

Hopefully, you don't have any roosters...ours love to serenade their ladies on the full moon, by neighbors' security lamp-light, by passing by cars...
