I just bought a 1 week old Sapphire gem three days ago, she seemed perfectly fine, the next day I noticed she was keeping one eye closed, and so I figured it got scratched or pecked by the 100s of others tsc keeps in their tank, but as the days went on I've tried washing her eye, and everything, today I went to check on her and it seems both eyes are shut now, also I don't know if this is just stringy poop or giant worm that came from her or if it's just regular and the water did that , her other poops look normal and she's eating or drinking but just both eyes are shut , any help would be appreciated

Is she drinking fluids or eating? I would keep her eyes clean and free of any dried crust, and opening the eyes apply Terramycin eye ointment twice a day. Plain Neosporin ointment can work if you cannot get Terramycin (which is best.) Getting her hydrated with water, and giving some Poultry NutriDrench 2 drops daily might help wake her. Keep her vent clean in case of pasty butt. Offer some egg yolk and watery chick feed made into a mash. Dip her beak in water and in chick crumbles sprinkled on a clean paper towel around her feet. I think the object is a long stringy poop, common in baby chicks, and it not a worm.

Yes she's drinking and eating, she opened one eye for a little bit but closed it again, thank you I'll go pick up these things now
