chick feed?

Is it okay to feed gamebird starter for layer chicks? My feedstore sold me the gamebird starter as a lower protein for some FFA cull turkeys but it is still quite a bit higher than the chickstarter, I think. He said it would just make them grow faster and bigger, but...

What is everyone's favorite for chickstarters?

I use gamebird feed. It will be fine.

Game bird feeder just has a bit more protein in it. Most people use it for the Guinea fowl because the do take more protein in their diet when they are keets.

I use chick starter and gamebird starter both, whichever is on sale at the time, does not seem to make a difference.
