chick gender - wild guess??

RIR chick, 7 days old... is it possible to venture a guess on the sex?!

If I had to guess I'd say roo due to the large feet, heavy looking bone structure in the legs and the very few feathers for a 7 day old chick. But that's just a guess!!

I do see a bit of comb, are girls at one week of age also the same?

Am hoping for a boy but shhhh! Don't tell my DH

It's hard to tell sex from comb size that early. If you had more chickens to compare you would notice that boys tend to have larger legs and poorer feather development than the girls. HE is really cute
