Hive mind, I am new to chicks. I have always started with pullets. My buff orphington while, exploring in her outside pen, somehow hurt her eye. Do chicks heal fast? Should I do any cleaning or medication?

I would use some plain Terramycin eye ointment from a feed store or Vetericyn eye gel twice a day. It looks like the eyelid has been torn or pecked.
