Chick Has Membrane Dried on Her Feathers

My newly hatched Australorp chick (hatched yesterday about 6pm) has a 1/4" by 1/2" piece of membrane that dried on her feathers on her lower back a little above and to the side of her tail. Should I wet it and try to get it off or just leave it alone and expect it to shed off eventually. It is not causing her any distress and she is doing very well.

Soak a piece of paper towel in water and lay it over the area and dribble warm water over it, It will very quickly soften up to where a soft wipe with the paper towel will take it off. Pat dry with dry towel and return to brooder. Just make sure he goes right back under the brooder light.
