One of my chicks has legs that are thin and feet that are small compared to the others. It's also one of the bigger chicks, so it has a hard time walking. The feet start to spread apart. Not full on spraddle leg, but wide stance, and the legs don't seem very strong. It's not as active as the rest and I worry about it getting enough food and water. It spends a lot of time lying around. I tried the band-aid trick for spraddle leg, but it kept falling over and couldn't get up. I thought maybe it was too tight, so I tried again, but it had the same problem.

Will the legs grow and strengthen on their own? Should I give some kind of vitamin supplement to help with this?

Thanks,
Shannon

Best to make sure she has access to water & food & leave her be.

sometimes you get a weak chick - hopefully she will pull through OK -

If there's any dietary support I can offer this chick, I'd like to know what it is so I can give her every chance to succeed.

Thanks!
