I raised my chicks in the coop this year. I left them out of their safe zone at 5 weeks. The integration during the day has been going great, they went in the run by day 2 & use the big girl roosts, feeder & waterer during the day. The first few days I made sure they were back in their safe zone before dark. Now they are in there every night before the sun goes down when I turn off the coop light. How do I get them to brave staying out at night? They are 6 1/2 weeks old & soon will be too large for their escape route. They have been integrating for 10 days. They only go in there to eat sometimes during the day. Do I just take down the safe zone fence or wait them out? Thanks.
