chick knee abnormality

my first batch of chick has hatched over the past 3 days and one cannot walk so i picked it up and looked at its leg and it is swollen and red at the knee and the joint really cannot be moved. is this something i can splint? or will the swelling go down and become normal?

the foot is not able to go down on the floor all the way and this is now it sits

had this posted in chicks and was told moving it here might get some more expert answers thanks!

looks like a slipped tendon..you might be able to slip it back..

might also help to give the chick Vitamin B..
Poly-vi-sol liquid baby vitamins has Vitamin Bs..
try getting Enfamil brand, no iron..give 2 drops on beak once a day for a week, then taper off for another week.

but the leg will still need to be to slipped back or treated asap..
