I have a chick who is 19 days old and has been doing rather well. She is being raised in the flock. Today, when I went out to the hens, I noticed that the chick kept falling over. When she was on the relatively flat ground she was okay, but anytime she would walk on any uneven surface, she would fall over. Sometimes she was able to stop her fall with her wing. When she first came out of the coop, however, she did a 360 spin. Standing on her feet, then rolling forward onto her head, and then back on her feet. Throughout the day she would lay down and close her eyes. I'm not sure if these are normal behaviors, maybe she's just getting used to being alive? Today was the first day she spent without being under one of her moms most of the time too so maybe that has something to do with it? Should I be worried?
