Chick losing feathers

My friend has some 4 week old lavender Orpington chicks. Today we noticed that one has lost most of the feathers on its back. I know they lose the fluff as they get feathered out but this looks extreme and not what I’m used to seeing with my chicks. My thought was that it’s mites. It didn’t look like she was being picked on by the other chicks. She is eating and drinking like normal. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like it's outgrowing it's fluff. Sometimes with Orpington the males are slower to feather. Not sure what the sex of this chick is though.

This one is supposed to be a female.
