Hi, I have 3 olive egger female chicks, I'd say they're 4-6 weeks old, and in the morning, one of them (I don't know which one) makes this awful noise around 9 AM that sounds like a creaky door. She doesn't make this sound any other time of day. Maybe tractor supply lied and gave me a male chick, but even then it's too early for them to start crowing. I know it's not really a health problem, cause again she only does this in the morning, but it's just really annoying and I just wanna know why she does this, cause my last set of chicks NEVER made a sound like that.

Some cockerels crow awfully early. It's not unseen that they start at 5 weeks. You can post a private YouTube video with anyone with the link being Able to see the video and put the link here. Some photos of the bird might be helpful.

Yes, it's very difficult to vent-sex baby chicks and most hatcheries will tell you they can only be about 80% accurate, so there's an 8 in 10 chance that any chick marked pullet will be female - or a 2 in 10 chance it might actually be male. They do the best they can but mistakes can be made.
