Chick mystery

I just received an order of baby chicks that included, or was supposed to include, a Rhode Island Red. We did indeed get a reddish-brown chick that LOOKS like a RIR, but this chick has definite feathers growing on both feet! Can RIRs ever have feathered feet? Is there another breed that looks like RIR as a chick but has feathered feet?

rir dont have feathered feet..cute...but maybe its a buff brahma or buff cochin .....? was it hatchery?...if not it could be a mix breed

Yeah, the thing is, the chick doesn't have the coloring of either of those, it's exactly the color/ pattern of a RIR.... it's just those feathers. Really weird. It is from a hatchery - My Pet Chicken. I guess I'll just see what it grows up to be.
