Hi everyone. My chick was born about 6 hours ago with a droopy head and he won’t open his eyes. He cheeps and moves but can’t stand up. He also flaps his wings once and a while. I’m not sure what to do. Some advice would be appreciated!!!

If you can buy some Poultry Cell or Poutry NutriDrench and give a few drops one at a time, it might help. I would give it s try, and let him dry well. It could be a neurological problem from hatch or a vitamin deficiency.

I had one that would flip backwards because it couldn't keep it's head foward. It recovered within 24 hours of hatch. It runs all over now.

Yes Eggcessive is right. Bovidr Labs Poultry Nutridrench. One drop by mouth. Repeat as needed for needy chicks every 8-10 hours until perky.
Put 1 1/2 teaspoons in a quart of water for the first week of life. No need for any other supplements in the water. Greek yogurt in dish is good for probiotics.leave in brooder not too long so it doesn't get sour.
I used Bovidr Labs Sheep Nutridrench one year with poultry dosages And had great success with 42 Light Sussex chicks.
Best,
Karen
