CHICK NOT EATING PLEASE HELP

My 3 day old chick isn't eating or drinking, Yesterday he was fine chirping and walking around but this morning i found him with his eyes closed and can barely lift his head and only does so when i dip the tip of his beak shallow water, he wont eat as he wont open his eyes and is very weak, I tried to make a mash from water and chicken crumble but he obviously showed no interest as he has no idea what it is and i don't want to put it into his mouth as he looks as if he is having trouble swallowing?? I thought if i just used the liquid produced from mixing the chick crumble and water to give him a drink it might be better for him and give him a better chance, I do not have any electrolytes available to me as i live in a rural area and miles from the nearest shop. I have given him molasses in water which has had little effect as well as just plain water and water with sugar! Please reply if you could help, i would like to give that best chance to this little chicken

There are any number of possible causes, including that he simply has some genetic problem that you can't do anything about. Probably the big question is, do any of the others seem to be having a problem? I'd suggest you look through the link below and see if anything jumps out at you.
