Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve been on this site. We got chickens again. We are having issues with 1 poor baby chick Loretta. We got 2 cream legbar. Since we lost 2 from are last batch. She was very small compared to her sister. We noticed she has small seizures, they last about 1 min. She had an internal blockage. She was trying so hard to poop. We soak her in hot water, tried molasses, oil etc everything to get it to unclog. Nothing work. Last resort was a homemade enema. After 2 pumps we had success, 1 Tiny very hard turd. We waited a while she was in her hot tub relaxing. Did another round a lot more came out. Next day same thing because she was still back up. Than finally yesterday she pooped on her own. Now the concern is her pulsating vent hole not calming down. We don’t know what else to do with Loretta. Any advice would be appreciated. Chicks are 3-4 weeks old

Poor thing is prolapsing some.

I'd offer wet mushy chick starter and give her 1/4 tsp coconut oil twice a day.
See that she's drinking well.
If you have poultry vitamins like Poultry Nutri-Drench, give her 4-5 drops twice a day as well.

For the swelling, you can give her soaks in a warm epsom salts bath to help shrink the tissue. Dry her well so she doesn't chill (hairdryer works well). Apply an anti-inflammatory cream to the vent.

Hopefully she will pull through this.
