I just "candled" the three remaining eggs that are under my broody hen (the others have already hatched). They should hatch tomorrow. When I placed the flashlight at the ends of two of the eggs (each one individually) they remained dark but when I shined the light though the other egg the egg glowed. Chick (s) or no chick (s)?

Information would be greatly appreciated.

There was a air cell in the two dark ones.

Thanks!!

There should be an air cell in all the eggs. Wether developing or not. Make sure that you are candling them all from the same end (fat round end) because if you candle from the pointed bottom end you will not see the air cell. The light needs to pass through the air cell to get a better "picture" of what you are seeing. (Unless you have a really awesome candler.) With that being said, if the egg is completely bright and clear then it either wasn't fertile or just didn't start developing.
