Hilaree- The splash ameraucana is a very light blue. She ( ) will eventually be a light blue with darker blue splotches all over her. She is from a blue ameraucana rooster (blue egg gene) and a blue ameraucana hen (blue egg layer). She will lay a blue egg and is a pure ameraucana.

The blue Easter Egger is actually darker than she looks in that picture. She is the offspring of a blue ameraucana rooster (blue egg gene) and a white Easter Egger hen (green egg layer). She will lay a greenish blue egg and is essentially a mutt.

The blue EE will likely look a lot like a blue ameraucana, but she'll have parts of her that don't fit the standard of perfection.
