I unfortunately had to be out of the house all day and upon arrival this evening I had noticed a chick had pipped through the wrong end and I can see some blood above where it pipped. I want to make sure I am doing the right thing by leaving it alone. I can definitely see its beak moving but unfortunately I don't know how long it's been since it pipped.

My wife is impatient and would be chipping an air hole and maybe more, If membrane still flowing, just air hole...I thought she used the "wrong end" on a few occasions just to break them out! But seriously, she would just help them, if you do enough of them, you'll see some crazy stuff...If you watch my wife you'll see some crazy stuff! *WHACK*, I mean wonderful stuff, not crazy, definitely not crazy, only wonderful...("better hon?")
