So cute claraserena! What breeds are they? I love Peeps & baby chicks!

They're of mixed parentage. We have 14 hens--Red Star Layers, black Australorp, Columbian Wynadotte,Speckled Sussex, EasterEggers, and Buff Orphington--and 3 roosters--Black Australorp, Columbian Wyandotte and Silver Spangled Hamburg(though he doesn't have much success with the girls). The only parentage I'm sure of is the one on the left as it was from a blue egg. So the questions are Who's your Mamma? Who's your Daddy? The Broody is a Buff Orphington but she might not be the biological mother of any of them.

WOW! It will be interesting to see what they look like as they grow. Keep us posted! By the way your pic turned out great. Now if I could only figure out how to do it. I guess I'll have to ask my 16 year old daughter as she's the putor expert around here!
