My Cuckoo Maran Chick ( 4-5 weeks old) is pooping liquid yellow! I have removed her from her flock and have given her ( along with the rest of my Chick flock ) some ACV water. She is not moving and has ate little food and water. She is sleeping and her feathers are ruffled. Her sister is doing perfectly fine, and she is the only one of my chickens that is like this. This is my first time having problems with chicks, and I may be freaking out! Thank you for help!

It might be coccidiosis. Get some Corid at your feed store. Dosage is 1 1/2 tsp of powder Corid, or 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water (the only source of water) for 7 days. Treat all of the chicks at the same time. Afterward, give them a small amount of plain unsweetened yogurt for probiotics. Vitamins for chicks in the water then would also be good.

Thank you so much! I have been giving her Gatorade for the past hour-ish and she has been drinking it. I have to drop it onto her beak and then she occasionallg will drink it with out help. She has also pooped twice ! ( still yellow, but she hadn't pooped at all earlier. ) I'm going to see if I can get Corid! Thanks!

Also, I am 85% sure she has coccidiosis , because she is hunched over with ruffled feathers. Thank you so much for your help so far!

Thank you for your help. Apparently she passed while I was sleeping. She will be missed.
