chick question?

About how long does it take before a chick can walk???? About how long after they hatch????

Mine tend to walk sort of on their bellies (like a crawl) for a bit. But they are up and moving around pretty quickly. Every once in a while, I will have a weak baby that just does not seem to get his legs to work right. I usually end up loosing those. But, they do walk or stumble around pretty quickly.

Two of the five chicks we picked up were supposed to be one-day old and they were both walking and cheeping just fine.

Within a few hours of hatching seem to be my experiences. It doesn't take them long.
